Waterfront Cabin Rentals
Our lake front cabins are within 20 ft of Millinocket Lake, nestled close to our rafting base and are only footsteps from our onsite restaurant and pub. They are the perfect accommodation for guests that want to truly enjoy the Maine lakefront experience. Cook out while listening for loons in the evening before your adventure. Or enjoy the simple pleasure of drinking your coffee on the sun porch the next morning. After all, it is better to wake at the lake!

One room cabin with lake views, two full size beds, kitchenette, use of campground bathrooms.
Sleep Cabin 10
One room cabin with lake views, one full size bed and one twin bed, kitchenette, use of campground bathrooms.
Small Waterfront Cabins
#4 The Loon
One bedroom with a queen size bed and a bunk bed, small kitchen and living area with additional sleeping for 3 (bunks and twin) with propane monitored heat. – Sleeps 7
#5 Little Rocky
This is a small one room waterfront cabin with a screened porch and and detached bathroom. – Sleeps 4
#6 Double Top
This one bed room waterfront cabin is set up to sleep 6 or 7 guests. – Sleeps 6/7
Very similar to Double Top this one bedroom waterfront cabin is set up to sleep 6 or seven guests and comes with a screened porch, grille, and kitchen. – Sleeps 6/7
Large Waterfront Cabins
#9 Pamola House
One of our largest cabins this sits and the shore of Millinocket Lake and is named after “Pamola” the beast that lives on Katahdin. This cabin has it’s own bathroom, kitchen, screened porch, and deck. – Sleeps 15
#10 Baxter House
Our largest waterfront cabin on the banks of Millinocket lake. It is fully outfitted for your summer adventure vacation. – Sleeps 14/16
#8 Knife Edge
The “bunkhouse”. This cabin has no running water but is the only cabin on the shore of Amberjesus Lake. We rent it for $10 less per person because of the lack of running water. Bottled water is provided for our guests. – Sleeps 7/8
Trail-Side Cabin Rentals
The Big Moose Inn’s lakeside and trail-side cabins are fully furnished, in a great location and the perfect place to launch your Maine summer adventure from. Both the trailside and lakeside cabins can sleep groups from 2 to 16 and are outfitted with full kitchens, linens, and housekeeping services. Located right in the middle of the Five Lakes Chain these cabins are a perfect base camp for adventure.

The Boat House
One room cabin with one full size bed, coffee maker, use of campground bathrooms.
Sleep Cabin 3
One room cabin in the woods, two twin beds, kitchenette, outside shower, use of campground bathrooms.
Small Trail-Side Cabins
The Antique Cabin
This small cabin has a full kitchen and bath, but is located right next to the Loose Moose Bar and Grille. The restaurant is closed by 10pm every night, but this is a high traffic area. With beds for 5 this cabin is best for groups who plan on adventuring during the day and enjoying the night life in the evening. – Sleeps 4/5
Large Trail-Side Cabins
#1 Fischer House
This is a log cabin with room for up to 12. This cabin is one of the original cabins that used to house the River Drivers when they where working on the Penobscot River. It has three bedrooms and a screen porch on the front. There is a fire pit and a grille along with the full kitchen. – Sleeps 10/12
#2 Black Bear Cabin
The Black Bear Cabin has all of the same amenities as The Fisher House, but with 10 single beds in a loft and bunk house configuration. This is the perfect cabin for groups of friends on a bachelor or bachelorette party weekend. – Sleeps 10
#3 The Owl
This log cabin sleeps up to 8 in two bedrooms with double bunk beds. Another one of the original River Drivers log cabins, it has a screen porch and all of the other amenities of the trail side cabins. – Sleeps 6/
