Ice Cave Tour

One of Maine's most unique adventures.

New for 2008! The Ice Caves are a little known phenemenon in the Katahdin region.  They hold ice all summer. We take a boat from the dock at our base to the base of the mountain with the ice caves. Then we hike up to the caves and lower ourselves in to explore the cave. The views are spectacular from the lookout points around the caves. W have lunch on Omaha beach then cruise back to base. Moose and Eagles are often spotted.

Maine Moose Tours

Maine Moose in their natural habitat

Penobscot Adventures Moose tours head out nightly at 6:00 and run until about 8:00.  We take our van and get up close and personal with moose.  Many times we'll see multiple moose and mothers with calves. This is a great trip for the whole family. If your from an urban area it may be the only time you get to see one of Maine's icons.
