
Booking Policies
Please take a few minutes to review these points, then prepare yourself for the thrill of a lifetime.
Reservations
Reservations are required and can be made by calling PA at 1-877-356-0386 with VISA/MasterCard or by mail with certified check or money order. A 50% deposit is required to confirm your reservation with the balance due 45 days in advance of arrival (PA will automatically debit your credit card). Reservations within 45 days of your trip require full payment with the reservation. Deposits can be transferred one time, but are non-refundable.
Group Rates
You raft free when bringing a group of 16 e.g. a group of 16 has 15 paid spots and 1 free, a group of 32 would have 30 paid spots and 2 free and so on for larger groups. One free in 16 applies to packages or day trips. Call for our group organizer PLANNER PAK. Promo videos are also available.

Cancellations & Cancellation Insurance
Trips can be rescheduled, but deposits are non-refundable.
Safety and Liability
While no experience is necessary, we insist you be in good health and possess average swimming ability. Minimum age is 14 years for the Penobscot Gorge. Minimum age is 8 for the Seboomook River. Although we spare no effort to ensure a safe experience, we can assume no responsibility for your safety or loss of personal equipment. In the activities we provide, an element of risk is inherent and beyond human control. A signed liability release is required of all participants and a parent/guardian release for minors (under 18). A copy of our release may be obtained in advance. See above WAIVER & RELEASE FORM.
Included in Your Trip
All river trips are 4-6 hours long and include paddle, life jacket, helmet, a meal and guide service.
How to Dress for Your Trip
We paddle rain or shine and never cancel due to weather. We STRONGLY recommend low cut running shoes, shorts or bathing suit, WOOL sweater and NYLON wind breaker. COTTON MAKES YOU COOL AND IS NOT ADVISABLE. In the summer we recommend you rent (on site) a full or half suit depending on the weather. Eyeglasses must be secured.
What to Bring Overnight
If you're camping, bring tent, sleeping bag, foam pad and towel. Our rental accommodations include all bedding and towels. Everyone should bring flashlight, wind up alarm and warm clothing for evenings.
Security Deposit
Accommodation, wetsuit and kayak school equipment rental require credit card imprint security deposit. We accept Visa, and MasterCard.
Late Arrivals
Reception is open until 11pm daily and later on Thursday & Friday evenings.
Meals
Day Trips include either lunch on the river or after the trip depending on start time. There is a vegetarian alternative at every meal even on the river. Our dining facility is licensed serving a good selection of beer, wine and spirits.
Alcohol
Drinking is not permitted before or during your trip. Anyone who is drinking or appears to be even slightly intoxicated before the trip will be denied participation. Refunds or alternate dates will not be given. Our restaurant is licensed; alternatively guests are permitted to bring along alcoholic beverages for personal enjoyment at their campsites or the evening campfire. Drinking is prohibited after 1 am for those rafting the next day.

Pets
Sorry, pets are not permitted.

Quiet camping in a secluded semi wooded location is available on request for those seeking a more restful end to their day. Please indicate when reserving.
