Navigating a whitewater rapid, even if its only class II, by yourself for the first time delivers an euphoric high that most people never experience. Equipment and teaching techniques have taken huge strides in the past five years. Its never been easier to learn. Penobscot Adventures only uses American Canoe Association trained instructors.

Inflatable Kayak/Ducky Trips

Inflatable kayaks, or Duckies, are easy to control, self powered crafts that are both agile and sturdy enough to take on serious rapids. Even if you don't have any kayaking experience, you can quickly master the techniques needed to control an them.

Kayak Touring / Lake Touring

Lake Touring in Maine is easy and fun for the whole family. Penobscot Adventutres takes advantage of the extraordinary,beautiful lakes in the Katahdin Region. We offer half and full day lake touring trips for all ages. The trip includes lunch and all of the gear.
